BQMNY’s jewelry workshops provide community members with the opportunity for artistic expression and community building through authentic community engagement, facilitation, and art therapy principles; while creating a fun and supportive environment. Vanessa has a passion for teaching community members how to harness their creative power and has taught creative wellness workshops in New York for the past 8 years for underserved and overlooked communities.

With 8 years of jewelry experience ranging from design and education to fabrication, Vanessa has the awareness, patience, and skill to facilitate jewelry workshops with all ages. She has done workshops with Cooper Hewitt, Dartmouth College, Ali Forney Center, NYLAG, University Settlement, BYP 100, TORCH by NIRH, and Teens P.A.C.T. by CHN.

Vanessa is available to facilitate public and private creative wellness workshops for you, your friends, family, children, and/or organization.
